The R.C.I.A is made up of three teams of parishioners who give witness to their faith
through ongoing meetings and liturgical celebrations with adults seeking
full initiation (non-baptized persons) or adults seeking full communion
with the Catholic Church (Christians baptized in some other faith, tradition
or baptized Catholic with no further instruction in the faith).
Each
team is trained to work with the catechumens and candidates through various
stages of the initiation process: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
Once trained, each team meets weekly with the candidates during their particular
stage of the process.
