Members assist in the development and implementation of a religious education program for children of the parish in grades one through eight.  Needed are coordinators, teachers, aides and other volunteers.

Teachers and aides work with and provide instruction for the children.  Volunteers assist in the classes, monitor the halls, work in the nursery and help with the office work.  The most important talent necessary to succeed is the ability to share your faith with others. 

All materials and support are provided as well as support from the Religious Education Coordinator and Pastoral Staff.  Classes for grades 1-5 meet one hour a week on Sunday morning for approximately 24 weeks beginning in September.  Classes for grades 6 - 8 meet for one-and -a-half hours once a week on Monday evenings for 18 weeks.  Classes are held at St. Mary - Sacred Heart School.  Preparation time for each week ranges from 30 minutes to one hour.
